alice &mark and will soon join a law firm in Kansas City. He and his wife Emily welcomed their first child Beckley April 19, 2008.

Our son, Mert is a journalist and the managing editor for Community Free Press in Springfield. He and his wife Elizabeth have two sons; Tyler and Mert Jr. and expect their third child in July 2008. Our adopted daughter Brandy is married to Jason, and parent two sons. They reside in Christian County as well.

We have two other children who came to us through the Christian County foster care program, Abby and Andrew. Although we were not able to adopt Abby, she is very much a part of our family. She is currently a senior at Baylor University in Waco, TX and plans on continuing on to law school. Andrew still resides in the home, and is a junior at Spokane High School. He would like to attend college and pursue a career in mechanical engineering.

• Over 20 years tax and accounting experience
• Enrolled to practice before the IRS
• Instructor for H&R Block Tax School
• Treasurer for Highlandville Rural Fire Protection District for 10 years
• Volunteer Firefighter
I have also served in numerous volunteer positions; Mission Trip Director, Youth Director, Highlandville Elementay Tutor, and Angel Food Ministry. I am a graduate of Nixa High School and attended Missouri State University.

My Family
Mark and I have been married for 32 years and have called Christian County home for those 32 years. We have three children, four grandchildren, and several foster children. We have attended and been active with the ministries at Spokane First Baptist Church for the last 10 years. I look forward to meeting and hearing from many of you over the next few months.

Mark and I raised our children in the Spokane/Highlandville area. Our son, Marty is currently a law clerk in Jackson County,
